We know that understanding when a gift will arrive is important when buying online. So here is how it all works with the first box of our gift subscriptions and our one-off gift boxes… sorry it is all a bit detailed but when you need to know, you need to know!
Firstly, we need to let you know when we will send out the first box of your order. All orders placed before 2pm on Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) will be dispatched the same day (unless you select a later delivery date). Orders placed after 2pm will be sent out on the next working day.
We send all our socks using various services provided by the Royal Mail. How long it takes to arrive depends on the delivery option you select. Remember with Royal Mail 1st Class and 2nd Class that the delivery time is not guaranteed - the vast majority of parcels arrive when they should… but not all do! But we have guaranteed delivery options if the box is urgent.
Here’s the options...
The rolling subscriptions are treated slightly differently to the gifts with the first box being sent out in 2nd Class post and the socks should arrive 2 or 3 days later. No signature is required. The delivery is free.
We will send you an email when the first box of the gift subscription or a one-off gift box is dispatched - in this email is a link that will allow you to track the delivery. With 1st Class and 2nd Class post the page will update once the delivery has been made or attempted. However, the tracking for the Special Delivery options will update as the package moves through the Royal Mail system.
